Save our Sumatran Rhinos

The Sumatran rhino is one of five known species of the rhinoceros family and is considered a Malaysian heritage, being the only rhino species found in Malaysia. It is also โ€œthe most seriously endangered species of large mammals in the worldโ€ with only an estimated 300 of them left in the world.


In January 2006, Honda initiated the Honda โ€“ WWF Rhino Rescue Project and pledged RM5,000,000 over a period of 5 years to save the Sumatran Rhino. The project marked the very first corporate sponsorship dedicated to the Sumatran Rhino.
